RB2B APIs use a credit-based system for all identity and enrichment requests.
Credits can be purchased in bulk, and each API endpoint consumes a specific number of credits depending on the type and depth of data returned.
This article outlines how RB2B API credits work, the cost per tier, and how many credits are required for a successful response from each endpoint.
Credit Pricing
You can purchase credits at any time directly from your RB2B APIs Dashboard. The more credits you buy, the lower your cost per credit.

How to Buy Credits
You can purchase credits anytime directly from your RB2B APIs Dashboard.
Log in to your dashboard and click âBuy Creditsâ from the sidebar menu (or go directly to ui.api.rb2b.com/buy-credits).
On the Buy Credits page, use the slider to select the number of credits youâd like to purchase.
Sliding to the right increases the number of credits.
Sliding to the left decreases it.
The total cost for your selection updates in real time below the slider.
Once youâre satisfied with your selection, click âPurchase Credits.â
Youâll be redirected to a secure Stripe payment screen to complete your purchase using a credit card.
After payment is processed, your credit balance updates instantly in your dashboard.

Purchase limits:
Minimum purchase: 3,000 credits ($149)
Maximum purchase: 6,500,000 credits ($59,999)
You can make additional purchases as often as youâd like â thereâs no limit to how many times you can top up.
How Credits Work
Each API call consumes a specific number of credits. To learn how many credits our various APIs consume, see the Credit Cost per Resolution table below.
Credits are only consumed on a successful response from RB2B APIs. Empty responses and malformed requests do not consume credits.

Once credits are used, they are deducted immediately from your balance.
You can:
Refill credits manually through your dashboard at any time.
Automate top-ups (coming soon).
View historical usage by endpoint and integration.

Notes & Policies
Credits do not expire as long as your account remains active.
When purchasing more credits, any unused credits are carried forward into the new purchase.
Credits are non-refundable once purchased.
Usage reporting is updated in real time via your dashboard.
All billing is handled securely through Stripe.
Troubleshooting & FAQs
Is RB2B APIs subscription-based?
No. RB2B APIs operates on a pay-as-you-go model, not a subscription. You purchase credits as needed, and those credits are used only when you make API requests. There are no recurring charges or automatic renewals.
Do credits expire?
No. Credits do not expire as long as your RB2B APIs account remains active.
You can use them at any time and purchase more whenever needed.
What happens when I run out of credits?
If your credit balance reaches zero, new API requests will be rejected until you purchase additional credits.
You can add credits instantly through your dashboard under Billing â Credits.
Can I get a refund for unused credits?
No. All credit purchases are final and non-refundable once processed.
We recommend starting with a smaller package to evaluate your usage needs.
Can I upgrade or change my pricing tier later?
Yes. You can purchase additional credits at any time. Each purchase follows the pricing tier that matches the amount purchasedâthereâs no need to upgrade or change plans manually.
Can I share credits across multiple accounts?
No. Credits are tied to the specific RB2B APIs account that purchased them and cannot be shared, transferred, or combined across different organizations or partner accounts.
What payment methods are accepted?
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We accept major credit cards and support invoice-based billing for approved enterprise partners.
Can I update my billing information after purchasing credits?
You can update your billing information at any time through Billing â Manage in Stripe. However, previously issued invoices cannot be modified once payment has been completed.
Do I receive an invoice or receipt after purchasing credits?
Yes. Every purchase automatically generates an invoice and receipt, which you can view and download from your Stripe billing portal.
Are taxes included in the listed prices?
All prices are shown exclusive of applicable taxes. Tax amounts (if applicable) will be shown during checkout before payment is completed.
Can I test RB2B APIs for free?
There is no free trial for RB2B APIs. You can start by purchasing your first 100 credits for $9, which provides full access to all standard endpoints.
