Email to Last Active Date

Written by Kaley Vilmont

Overview

The Email to Last Active Date endpoint accepts a plaintext email address and returns the most recent known activity date associated with that identifier.

Last active represents the most recent known activity date associated with the email across our activity graph.

Use this endpoint to identify recently active users for suppression, re-engagement, audience qualification, or retention workflows. Supports both single email and batch lookups, with credits charged only for matched records.

Note: Supports both single email and batch lookups of up to 1,000 emails per request.

Use Case

Common use cases include:

  1. Fuel a win-back strategy

  2. Prioritize high-intent outreach

  3. Improve audience qualification

Example: A retention platform nightly exports a list of recently churned users and calls this endpoint with up to 1,000 emails at a time. Any email that returns a last_active date within the past 30 days is identified as still active somewhere online and suppressed from win-back campaigns to avoid wasted spend and unnecessary re-engagement outreach.

Credit Cost
